1.Met in Oiso House, Japan in 1970 and then ACISCA was born |

2.ACISCA always has been working closely with Christian Conference of Asia. One of the CCA staff is an ex-officio member of ACISCA |

ACISCA became part of the World Collaboration Committee and affiliated OIKOSNET – a global network of Lay Center and Academies. (OIKOSNET includes North America, Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, Europe, Middle East) |

4.ACISCA receives its funding through OIKOSNET. The main funding agency is EED. The executive secretary, Department of Education and Ecumenical Formation (WCC), Ms. Tara Thaturi supports ACISCA. |

5.ACISCA celebrated its 25th Anniversary at Seoul, South Korea in 1992, and has kept its foot in the 21st century. |

6.ACISCA has a constitution and the Executive Committee is elected with office bearers in its General Assembly, which meets once in four years. As on today ACISCA has 35 members in 12 countries. |
